St Johnstone have launched a bid to land striker Jordan White from relegation rivals Ross County this month.
Callum Davidson is desperate to add to his frontline this month as he looks to add the firepower needed to help his side climb the Scottish Premiership, and the 30-year-old frontman is told of the Perth wishlist this month. Record Sport understands St Johnstone have submitted a six-figure offer to the Dingwall outfit as they look to tempt Malky Mackay's men to sell this month.
White has been a key man up front for Mackay this term making 26 appearances so far this term, and has netted four of Count's 15 league goals so far this term - with County rooted to the bottom of the table and the top flight scoring charts. White joined County in January 2021 after a brief six-month spell at Motherwell, where he failed to score for the Steelmen.
It remains to be seen if the towering attacker will be allowed to leave the Highlands. Boss Mackay will believe he can drag the Perth Saints back into the relegation scrap, who sit just seven points ahead in the table.
