Jordan White reveals his Rangers dream is coming true as he insists Ross County had Ibrox side 'worried'

Jordan White can’t stop scoring against the team he grew up supporting.

Now the Ross County hitman hopes his side’s narrow defeat at Ibrox will be the start of a remarkable recovery for the struggling Staggies. The boyhood Rangers fan notched his fifth goal in his last seven clashes with the Light Blues as Malky Mackay’s side were edged out in Glasgow. Another goal against the Ibrox side may not have gone down with his Gers-daft dad Billy but the brave display delighted Mackay as County made Michael Beale’s side sweat.

The striker – whose side sit just a point off bottom – said: “We put a lot into the game. Tactically, we got a lot of things right. They’re a good team and you’ve got to ride your luck at times but overall we can be pleased with our performance. I don’t know what it is about me scoring against Rangers. It’s just that the ball keeps falling to me at the right times and I’m there to put it in. I grew up dreaming of scoring at Ibrox but first and foremost I’m a Ross County player and I’ll give everything for Ross County.

“To come to a place like this, have chances and have a lot of the ball, like we did, you’ve got to take the positives from it.

“Did we have Rangers worried? Absolutely. They didn’t like it at the end. We’ve come up short but we’ve got to build on this and not just be happy to do that against Rangers.”
