Jordan Spieth disqualified from JP McManus Pro-Am after silly mistake

Jordan Spieth was disqualified from the JP McManus Pro-Am after making a ridiculous mistake when putting on the 14th green. Spieth has joined a number of PGA Tour stars including Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods and Justin Thomas in competing in the Irish event.

As well as some of the biggest names in golf, the PGA Tour stars also played alongside a number of A-list celebrities, with the likes of Bill Murray, Niall Horan and John Terry all teeing it up at Adare Manor. The event is split into two leaderboards, with the professional competing in a singles tournament between them, as well as a team event which includes the celebs.

Whilst out on the course though, Spieth clearly forgot that he was competing across two separate competitions - and this slip in concentration has cost him his place in the singles event.
