Jordan unveiled on Monday a major development strategy for the Middle Eastern country up to the next 10 years targeting doubling its growth to help it rejuvenate an economy hit by regional turmoil.
The plan was a major plank of reforms pushed by King Abdullah since last year to help the oil importing country reverse a decade of sluggish growth hovering at around 2% that was worsened by the pandemic and conflict in neighboring Iraq and Syria.
