Out of contract Jordan Larsson insists he is open to all offers as the son of Celtic icon Henrik officially ended his time at Spartak Moscow.
Larsson Jr is now a a free agent as the son of the Parkhead icon leaves Spartak with his contract ripped up following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He impressed in the Russian top flight netting an impressive 26 goals his first 62 appearances before returning to Sweden on loan with title challengers AIK during a three-month loan spell.
A move to the Scottish Premiership champions has caught the imagination of the Parkhead supporters given the mark Larsson Sr left on Glasgow's east end, but there appears to be plenty of clubs chasing a deal for the Sweden international this summer. However, he is playing his cards close to his chest over his next move as the 25-year-old begins his hunt for a new club.
With his loan at AIK and Spartak Moscow coming to an end on June 30, he told Aftonbladet that he did not know where his future would lie. Larsson said : " Unfortunately, I can not answer that.
"I want a lot of things, but it's not always just up to me. My agent has to answer those questions. I know everyone wants to know, but there is not much to say right now."
AIK sporting director confirmed that the club have held talks with the player as they look to continue his spell in Sweden, with his former side appearing to be the early frontrunners for a deal. He told Expressen : "He does not see AIK as a bad alternative. He sees the club as a good option."
However, the Swedish side are not the only pursuing a deal with Espanyol also making an approach to the player, according to reports in Spain. La Grada claim that sporting director Domingo Catoira has been a long-term admirer of the frontman, and previously held talks with the striker before his move to Sweden.
Catoira has reportedly approached Larsson's representatives again this summer as he looks to land a bargain deal. The report also notes that Borussia Dortmund have previously shown an interest in the Celtic icon's son.
