Jordan Henderson breaks silence on Gabriel incident after FA investigation cleared Liverpool captain
Jordan Henderson has broken his silence on the Football Association investigation that followed a bust-up between him and Gabriel Magalhaes.
The FA opted to open an investigation after the pair had a heated exchange of words when Arsenal were awarded a late penalty against Liverpool at the Emirates. Arsenal scored the spot-kick and went on to win the match 3-2. The Arsenal defender was believed to have taken offence at something Henderson had allegedly said, with Granit Xhaka also clashing with the Reds skipper before an unseemly spat involving several players on both sides.

A complaint was made to referee Michael Oliver in the immediate aftermath, who then consulted with Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta on the touchline before resuming play. The FA were compelled to investigate the allegation after Oliver included the incident in his match report.
Henderson and Gabriel were asked for their observations and the FA interviewed other players from both sides during a two-week investigation. The governing body then announced on October 26 that there is no case to answer and released a statement detailing why. And speaking about the investigation for the first time, Henderson has explained why he opted not to make any public statements during it - despite him having 'a million and one things' to say.

Full Liverpool squad available to face Tottenham as midfielder back but six missing
Liverpool travel to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon in search of a much-needed three points to get their Premier League season back on track.
The Reds have suffered defeats in both their previous two top-flight outings and are in desperate need of a strong display in a bid to keep their European hopes alive. Jurgen Klopp's side played out two thrilling draws with the Lilywhites last term but will look to go one better as they prepare to take on Antonio Conte's men.
Jordan Henderson is expected to be included in the squad on Sunday, despite being absent for Tuesday night's 2-0 victory over Napoli at Anfield. Issuing an update on the club captain to reporters on Friday afternoon, Klopp said: "So, Hendo, yes, he's available. He trained yesterday completely normal so should be fine. He had a little thing but serious enough to not be involved in the last game."
One individual who will miss out, however, is vice-captain James Milner. The veteran midfielder was forced off during the first half of the Napoli contest due to concession and will have to wait a little longer to make his 600th Premier League appearance.
