Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has penned a heartfelt message to James Milner, Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after Sunday's draw at Southampton marked the end of their Reds careers.
Earlier this month, Liverpool Football Club announced that all four of the players would leave the club when their contracts at the end of June having won every major trophy available since making their respective moves to Anfield.
On Sunday, Milner and Firmino were handed one final outing for the Reds in a pulsating 4-4 draw at St Mary's, which the Brazilian marked by scoring the Reds' second goal on the South Coast. Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keita, meanwhile, were not included in the Reds' 20-man Premier League squad.

Henderson, who has captained the Red since succeeding such a position from Steven Gerrard in the summer of 2015, thanked all of the players for the "amazing ride" they have all shared on Merseyside and wished them all the best for future years of their careers.
"The end of an era," wrote Henderson on social media on Sunday evening. "Shared some of the best moments of my life with these lads. Memories and a brotherhood that will last a lifetime.
"Good luck to you all on your journey, it’s been an amazing ride. Massive thank you to the fans for your support this season. #YNWA"
Vice-captain Milner, who has been linked with a move to Brighton and Hove Albion this summer, thanked the travelling Kop for the reception he was awarded on Sunday after a banner reading 'Milner 7 Legend' was unfurled by the away end.
"Always a privilege to play for you and a pleasure to enjoy success with you," wrote Milner. "Thanks for everything. YNWA #oncearedalwaysared"
