The Eagles have a Kelly Green and Midnight Green look, but Jalen Hurts violated an NFL rule by debuting two cleats in the 27-13 win over the Steelers.
Last Sunday, Hurts decided to wear mismatch cleats, and the league fined Philadelphia’s star quarterback close to $6,000.
Two shoes, one fine: The NFL docked #Eagles QB Jalen Hurts $5,628 for violating the league’s uniform and equipment rules in Sunday’s win over Pittsburgh, per source.

As Nick DePaula reports, Hurts won’t be paying that fine. Jordan Brand will ensure their star quarterback keeps his money, similar to a move they made with Michael Jordan 40 years ago.
40 Years Apart: Jalen Hurts receives “banned” letter from NFL after wearing Air Jordans in violation of league’s uniform policy. He will be fined $5,628.
“We’re paying the fine,” Jordan Brand tells me. “You can’t ban greatness.”

Earlier in the season, Hurts turned heads when he was forced to wear one white Jordan and another Green Jordan cleat after having his foot stepped on and not wanting to miss a play.
