After selecting USC wide receiver Jordan Addison in the first round of the NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings announced that he would wear the number three.
Addison has been sporting the number three since his time at Tuscarora High School. He continued to don the same number throughout his college career, both at Pittsburgh and USC.

The NFL has recently revised the rules on jersey numbers, specifically for certain positions. As part of their changes during this offseason, the league has now authorized the use of the number zero as a valid jersey number. This means that receivers are now allowed to wear jerseys with numbers ranging from 0 to 49, as well as 80 to 89.
With Addison now on board, the Vikings’ offense and quarterback Kirk Cousins have plenty of weapons at their disposal. Should Addison fulfill his potential, fans can expect to see jersey numbers 3 and 18 lighting up the scoreboard in Minnesota for years to come.
