Jonathan Van Ness has been forced to rehome his dog following a "gut-wrenching" attack on his cat.

The 39-year-old star took to social media to reveal he and husband Mark Peacock have given their beloved pet pooch to New York City's foster-based dog rescue organisation Muddy Paws Rescue, after a "devastating event" when the canine broke their cat Liza Meownelli's jaw.
