Jonathan David opens door to Arsenal transfer as Liverpool and Newcastle join race

Jonathan David is one of the many options Arsenal are set to explore this summer as Mikel Arteta eyes another striker.

The Gunners are short of options in the centre-forward department, with just Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah as the senior strikers available to Arteta following Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's free transfer to Barcelona earlier this month.

On top of that, both Lacazette and Nketiah see their contracts at the Emirates Stadium expire at the end of the season and they are expected to leave the club.
