Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall believes his side's Conti Cup victory over Chelsea has helped to inspire their recent upturn in form.
It was a difficult start to 2023 for the Gunners, who had gone three league games without a win and had also been dumped out of the FA Cup before triumphing over Emma Hayes' side at Selhurst Park in early March. The Conti Cup win ended Arsenal's four-year trophy drought and marked the first piece of silverware of Eidevall's tenure.
The result has also seemingly been the catalyst for Arsenal's revival in form; the Gunners having since won back-to-back league games by an aggregate score of 6-0. And Eidevall will be hoping his side can continue in that same vein when they take on Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
