Jonah Hill has applied to legally change his name, according to reports.
The 21 Jump Street star, 38, has reportedly filed a petition to remove his surname to remain in line with his well-known TV and film moniker.
Born Jonah Hill Feldstein, the popular film star wants to ditch the 'Feldstein' after becoming well-known as just 'Jonah Hill' for years.
His sibling, known as Beanie, will carry the torch for the Feldstein's as the Booksmart actress remains Elizabeth Greer Feldstein.
Documents state the Academy Award-winner wants his legal name to match the name he has publicly gone by, just like Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul.
Aaron, who was born a Sturtevant, now wants wife Lauren Parsekian, 35, and his baby son to have new Paul surnames too.
However, their little boy won't be changing his surname - he's already registered as Paul despite his parents not currently being officially called the name - but his Christian names will be altered from Casper Emerson, to Ryden Caspian.
Documents obtained by TMZ confirm the change, with the couple deciding, after naming their baby in hospital, that they like the new names better in the paperwork.
The 43-year-old actor made the decision to undergo an official name change for all members of the family and submitted the documents to make it official.
Aaron rose to fame as Jesse in the hit-TV show that ran for five seasons between until 2013.
He recently reprised his role alongside co-star Bryan Cranston who played Walter White for a "long-anticipated crossover" appearance in the sixth and final season of spinoff series Better Call Saul.
At the time a spokesperson said: "Bryan and Aaron both won numerous awards for their incredible roles, including Golden Globes and Primetime Emmys, making their inclusion in the final season a must-watch event for Breaking Bad fans."
Bryan was the leading role in the popular Breaking Bad series, playing a terminally-ill chemistry teacher who dealt methamphetamines alongside his former pupil Jesse in New Mexico.
The critically acclaimed series was an overwhelming hit, winning 16 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Peabody Awards as well as four Golden Globes and nine Critics' Choice Awards and a sea of nominations.
