Grammy-award winner Jon Batiste is set to release his first solo piano album titled 'Beethoven Blues (Batiste Piano Series, Vol. 1)' on November 15. The album features 11 tracks where Batiste reimagines Beethoven's classical works into fluid, soulful compositions that blend genres seamlessly.
Through a process called 'spontaneous composition,' Batiste sits at the piano and interprets Beethoven's masterpieces in his unique style, aiming to demystify the mythology around classical composers. He views this approach as a lost art in classical music and a way to make the music his own while honoring the original works.
