BENGALURU: A jolly trip to Nandi Hills proved costly for four Bengaluru teenagers who drowned in Ramanathapura Lake near Devanahalli Sunday evening.
Superintendent of police (Bengaluru district) Mallikarjun Baldandi said that the four youths left Bengaluru in the morning and visited Nandi Hills. They were returning to the city when they tried to play in a lake on their way back to the city around 4 pm. One of them did know how to swim and started drowning. Others tried to save him and all of them drowned.
