Joint fatal accident inquiry due into deaths of two young people in custody

A joint fatal accident inquiry (FAI) is to be held into the deaths of two young people who took their own lives while serving sentences at a young offenders institution.

Katie Allan died at Polmont Young Offenders Institution in June 2018 aged 21 while serving a sentence for a driving offence.
