A tech professional has left one of India’s major IT services companies just two days after completing onboarding, sparking a discussion on Reddit about short-term employment, Provident Fund (PF) rules and high-paying tech jobs. The employee revealed that they walked away from a ₹42 lakh per annum consultant role after receiving a better offer of more than ₹50 lakh per annum.
The techie shared the experience on Reddit, saying they were unsure whether the company would credit PF contributions for the two days they officially remained an employee.
