Johnny Depp case juror didn’t buy Amber Heard’s ‘crocodile tears’

One of the jurors who sat on the highly dramatic defamation case between Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has come forward to say he didn’t buy the “Aquaman” star’s performance — including her “crocodile tears.”

“It seemed like she was able to flip the switch on her emotions,” the unidentified juror told “Good Morning America” Thursday. “She would answer one question and she would be crying and two seconds later she would turn ice cold. It didn’t seem natural.”

That juror also believes Heard was badly directed by her legal team. For starters, when she looked at the jury directly while answering questions, it made the seven people in the box “uncomfortable.”

“She needs better advice,” the juror said.

According to that juror, Depp and Heard came across as a couple who yelled at one another, though her claims of abuse weren’t convincing. He said star power didn’t play into the verdict that led to Depp being awarded just over $10 million once the dust settled.

“None of us were really fans of either one of them,” the juror claimed.

The lawsuit stemmed from a 2018 op-ed Heard penned for the Washington Post in which she identified herself as a domestic abuse survivor. Depp wasn’t mentioned by name, but his legal team effectively contended the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star was implicated in that piece.
