Johnny Depp has arrived at the Sage Gateshead ahead of his guest appearance at Jeff Beck's show.
The Hollywood star was spotted entering the music venue just after 3pm on Thursday afternoon. The guitarist, who is a long time friend of the actor, was also snapped leaving the Hilton hotel on the Quayside.
Crowds of people gathered outside of the hotel and the Sage throughout the day to catch a glimpse of the 58-year-old. The last remaining tickets for the show were sold on Wednesday morning after it was announced he would be appearing on stage.

Johnny previously surprised audience members at Sheffield City Hall on Sunday when he turned up to play a number of covers. He joined Beck for two nights at London's Royal Albert Hall before the news broke that he would be staying on the tour for the rest of the scheduled UK dates. These are Gateshead, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and York.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star caused a stir with locals on Wednesday night when he met up with Sam Fender in The Bridge Tavern in Newcastle. He was tucking into fish and chips in the pub just hours before the verdict of his defamation case with Amber Heard, which he won.
The general manager at the Quayside pub told Chronicle Live how Johnny first came into the pub at around 5pm and he was sat in the corner eating his food. Janine Latchford said they gave him a private area upstairs where he met the North Shields singer. Johnny left the venue before the verdict of his court case was announced, with Sam leaving later in a Budget taxi.
The 33-year-old, who lives in Jesmond, said: "He was incredible. He gave me a hug and I told him that I loved him pretty much as soon as I saw him! He loved the art work and he was asking questions about the Tyne Bridge. He said he’d never been to Newcastle before.
“It has been the most surreal day of my life without doubt! It’s insane."
