Deputy First Minister John Swinney has warned the public to 'exercise caution' amid severe weather expected this week.
Mr Swinney chaired a meeting of the Scottish Government’s Resilience Room in preparation for two storms set to hit today, Storm Dudley and Storm Eunice, which will hit later next week.
The Met Office have issued an amber warning, due to come into force from 4pm today and expire at midnight, where it will be downgraded to a yellow warning until 6am on Thursday.
