JOHN Swinney has drawn cross-chamber applause after accusing the Scottish Reform leadership of seeking to divide communities with calls for a burqa ban.

The First Minister was responding to repeated probes from Reform UK leader in Scotland Malcolm Offord about Swinney's stance on a "Zionism is racism" motion debated at the Green Party conference in Brighton last week.
