John Muldoon to make emotional Connacht return in the summer

John Muldoon can't wait to come home to Galway and to Connacht.

Muldoon, 40, left the province five years ago when he followed Pat Lam to Bristol Bears as the club's defence coach before taking on responsibility for the forwards, helping the side win a Challenge Cup in 2020 and then a first place finish in the 2020/21 Gallagher Premiership league table.

He will return to the westerners in the summer and will have responsibility for the lineout and maul, working in conjunction with Colm Tucker who will remain in charge of the scrum and breakdown.
