Raith Rovers boss John McGlynn couldn't say if his side should have had a Parkhead penalty but admitted "I can't argue with the result".
The Fife club saw their Scottish Cup campaign ended with a 4-0 defeat to Celtic, despite putting up a good fight in the first half.
The TV pundits felt the visitors should have had a penalty for a Cameron Carter-Vickers handball at 1-0 in a first half which saw Ange Postecoglou's side at a level far below their best.
But the Raith boss couldn't quibble with the result as he admitted the Championship promotion hopefuls were just beaten by a better team.
McGlynn told Premier Sports: "Yeah, I mean I can’t argue with the result to be fair. Celtic are a top class side and our guys put out a great effort, loads of effort and were very well organised and very disciplined.
“We knew Celtic would come in blocks and by all accounts we managed to survive that 20 minute period that we thought we were going to get bombarded and it wasn’t quite so like that.
“But then you get to like 22 minutes where we lose a goal and we’ve done okay to stay in the game. That’s what we wanted to do. Stay in the game.
“Then we get 22 minutes into the second half so again we have got over a period we think Celtic will come out the start of the second half and put us under pressure but we stay in the game.
“And we did until that second goal. We are going forward, we get caught in transition and they put the ball across the face of goal and they score.
“We lose the third goal from a set play. A corner kick. A flick on at the near post. Poor from our point of view and then the last one's a penalty.
“Overall, I thought the guys worked really really hard. I’m disappointed to go out but we have to learn from that."
When asked if his side should’ve had a penalty after the ball hit the hand of Celtic defender Cameron Carter-Vickers, McGlynn added: “Handball as well? Carter-Vickers. I would have to see it again, but do I think there’s a claim? I don’t really know.”
