With Christmas officially 62 days away, many of us will be on the lookout for the famous John Lewis Christmas advert to hit our TV screens.
The highly anticipated advert is always a topic of conversation with many having their favourites and their not so favourites. For many, Christmas doesn't officially start until the advert is on telly, and it's so easy to see why.
In 2021 the John Lewis Christmas advert was released on November 4 which was the same day as the Pride of Britain awards. This year, the Pride of Britain will be aired this Thursday, October 27, which means the advert may be on our screens this Thursday.

What is the song in the John Lewis advert for 2022?
As expected, John Lewis is keeping tight-lipped about what song will feature in the popular advert. It's very rare that anyone guesses correctly, with John Lewis often choosing unique, stripped back covers on classics.
Singers who have featured on John Lewis Christmas adverts in the past include Ellie Goulding, Lily Allen, Tom Odell, Sir Elton John and Lola Young.
What was the John Lewis Christmas advert in 2021?
Last year, we saw Nathan spark up a friendship with space traveller Skye as Nathan helped her discover the magic of her first Christmas - mince pies and all. We saw Nathan show Skye some of his favourite Christmas moments, from twinkling fairly lights to a festive meal with family and friends.
Their friendship grew, while the pair watched Christmas films and played in the snow, until it was time for Skye to return home after fixing her ship. The bittersweet, heart-warming moment where Nathan gifted her his Christmas jumper (the one he wore when they first met) was definitely a tear-jerker.
As Skye left, she disappeared into the night sky and left a twinkling star on a Christmas tree in the distance. The song chosen for the advert was 'Together In Electric Dreams' by Lola Young, a stripped version of the classic by Phillip Oakley & Giorgio Moroder.
