Christmas is getting closer and closer, with many of us excitedly keeping an eye out for the famous John Lewis Christmas advert to air on our TV screens.
The highly anticipated advert is the definition of Christmas, and is always a topic of conversation when it comes out. Many are speculating when the advert will show this year, with rumours that it could even be shown as early as tomorrow.
In 2021 the John Lewis Christmas advert was released on November 4 which was the same day as the Pride of Britain awards. This year, the Pride of Britain will air tomorrow (October 27), which means the advert may finally be on our screens sooner than we thought.

What was the John Lewis Christmas advert last year?
Last year, we saw Nathan spark up a friendship with space traveller Skye as Nathan helped her discover the magic of her first Christmas - mince pies and all. Their friendship blossomed, while the pair watched Christmas films and played in the snow, until it was time for Skye to return home after fixing her ship.
The bittersweet, heart-warming moment where Nathan gifted her his Christmas jumper (the one he wore when they first met) was definitely an emotional moment. As Skye left, she disappeared into the night sky and left a twinkling star on a Christmas tree in the distance.
The song chosen for the advert was 'Together In Electric Dreams' by Lola Young, a stripped version of the classic by Phillip Oakley & Giorgio Moroder.
When could the John Lewis Christmas advert for 2022 air?
Since 2014, the John Lewis Christmas advert has been released in early November, typically between November 7 - 15. It's often revealed early on a Friday morning.
The 2020 advert was released at 7am on November 13 and the 2021 advert was released on November 4 - the same day as Pride of Britain, which is actually this Thursday, October 27.
This could mean that the John Lewis Christmas 2022 advert may air even earlier this year. There's a good chance it could even be on Thursday morning at 6.30am.
