John Kavanagh cracks hilarious joke as 'fight' breaks out at UFC 278 weigh ins

Saturday night might be the night for fighting but two tenacious competitors couldn't wait to get their hands on each other at the UFC 278 weigh ins.

Or should I say paws.

That's right, two dogs managed to sneak their way into the UFC 278 weigh-ins and treat those in attendance to a barnstormer of a brawl just hours before Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards scrap for the Welterweight title.

Conor McGregor's coach John Kavanagh was one of those in attendance that got to witness the scuffle and posted the following video on Twitter along with the caption, "Where was security??"

In terms of an analysis of the fight, it's clear that the dog on the bottom was simply overmatched from the opening bell. The larger canine used its size and strength to bully his fellow competitor and in all honesty, if there had have been a referee present the fight likely would have been called off.

Kavanagh surely would have been impressed with the slick ground game of the winning competitor. The victor easily collared the feisty underdog, stuck to him like a flea and slipped in a beautiful headlock that a veteran jiu jitsu grappler would be proud of.

The winner can call himself (Bark himself?) the pound-for-pound king and takes home the crown of undisputed UFC 278 weigh-in champion.

For the losing dog, it looks like his bark was nastier than his bite as he had to retreat from defeat with his tail between his legs after a rough day at the office.
