John Fury has suggested Deji boxed like a six-year professsional fighter in his comfortable win over rapper Swarmz.
YouTube star Deji returned to the ring at the weekend for the first time since sharing the ring with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition, during which he gave the undefeated star a black eye. The influencer took on rapper Swarmz on the seventh Misfits Boxing card, and he comfortably outboxed his rival to earn a unanimous points decision.
Throughout the fight, he looked levels above his rival who regularly retreated to the corner and threw wild counter punches in a bid to stop the dominance. Tommy Fury was ringside to watch the card with his dad John, who was left hugely impressed by the standards set on the night.
“I am impressed with both brothers [KSI and Deji]," Fury Sr said during an exclusive chat with Mirror Fighting courtesy of FreeBets.com. "Deji looked like a professional who has been boxing for six years. You have got to admire these guys. I thought Deji had improved immensely. Credit to Deji he has come on leaps and bounds, he was looking at his shots and looking to place them.
"He was looking to box properly. And again KSI or JJ, the kids are in there doing there thing aren't they? They are novices, they are raw but you have to give them credit. They are laying it all on the line and they are getting the job done. It is great to see. I was impressed with these guys, for somebody who hasn't had a million amateur fights you have to admire them. They are doing really well for someone who hasn't been in the fight game for very long."
KSI also picked up a win on the night albeit in controversial fashion, with footage showing that he used an elbow in the final blow of his KO of Joe Fournier. He watched on as his brother Deji secured a second straight win in the influencer space having picked up his maiden victory over Fousey prior to his duel with Mayweather.

Following the successful victory a number of options appeared to open up for Deji, which include his initial pursuit of an exhibition with Manny Pacquiao. However in a surprise turn of events, he opted to call out former One Direction singer Liam Payne after a brief assessment of his perfornance.
“My confidence in the ring has grown. I was having fun out there. It was an amazing crowd. Everyone that came out and watching at home, thank you," he said after picking up another YouTube boxing win. I heard Liam Payne is in here. I wouldn’t mind fighting him.“
