Joey Essex has sparked concern he'll be forced to pull out of the latest episode of Dancing On Ice as he gave fans a glimpse of a nasty injury.
The blow comes a week after The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaren was forced to withdraw from last week's live show at the 11th hour after falling ill.
This week Joey is the one giving ITV bosses a headache as he revealed he was laid up in bed with a wound to his leg.
The injury appeared so bad that Joey added an ice skate emoji over his bare foot to shield fans from what lay beneath.
While the upper half of Joey's leg was wrapped up in a black bandage.
"Had better days," he added as the caption.
So far Joey and his partner Vanessa Bauer have become one of the most talked about couples of the 2023 series for their antics off the ice as much as on.
After refusing to comment directly on rumours they are dating, Vanessa was papped leaving Joey's £3.3million house this week before the duo headed out for a power breakfast together.
Dancing On Ice, which in the past has been renowned for its dangerous stunts and nasty injuries, is set to return on Sunday.
The six remaining celebrities have been pulling out all the stops to stay on the ITV show as the competition ramps up in the weeks before the final.
Last week Coronation Street's Mollie Gallagher agreed to take part in the feared headbanger move, which saw her partner swing her around by the ankles with her head coming inches from the ice.
While the soap star completed the daring feat, fans complained after she was rewarded with a series of lacklustre scores from the judges.
Mollie rose to the challenge after being warned to be more daring with her routines the week before.
As the competition heats up, boyband star Siva admitted he had fallen ill and was force to cancel his appearance in the live show last week at the 11th hour.
Siva Kaneswaran said: "I'm gutted that I won't be performing this weekend but I picked up a bug earlier in the week which I haven’t been able to shake so I need to rest and get myself better. Good luck to all the contestants this weekend - I'm looking forward to watching everyone's performances!"
A Dancing on Ice spokesperson added: "Due to illness Siva will not skate in this weekend's show. We look forward to welcoming him back next weekend."
While Siva was given a free pass to the following week, it was the end of the road for former EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer.
After winding up at the bottom of the leaderboard, the Bianca Jackson was giving her marching orders by the judges.
After exit, the star appeared gracious in defeat as she told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: 'I've met the best people ever, we've been like one big family. I've proved I can and exceeded what I thought I can do."
