Joey Barton was sent off in his reunion with former Old Firm rival Scott Brown on the touchline after he was shown a red card by Bobby Madden.
The former Rangers flop and current Bristol Rovers manager was sent off by the ex-SPFL whistler in the 89th minute before Fleetwood scored a 99th minute leveller to earn a point in a compelling 2-2 draw at the Memorial Stadium earlier this afternoon.
Another Premiership old boy got in on the act as well, with defender Shaun Rooney, formerly of St Johnstone, scoring a brace for Broony's boys. He put the visitors into an early lead before goals from Josh Coburn and Aaron Collins completed the turnaround and looked to have secured a win for the Gas. But Rooney, who joined the League One side in the summer, headed home a 99th minute equaliser, sparking jubilant scenes on the touchline amongst Brown and his staff.
It's another important result on the road for the former Celtic legend's side as they remain 16th in the English League One table, one point ahead of Barton's Bristol Rovers.
It's not the position both would've want to be in at this early stage and the pair will be looking to kick on and challenge for the play-off spots with the respective clubs.
