Swansea City are targeting a loan swoop for Brentford right-back Fin Stevens.

The Swans have been determined to bolster their defensive options following the injury suffered by Joel Latibeaudiere.

And WalesOnline understands they are lining up a move for Welsh young gun Stevens.

It comes amid fierce interest in key forwards Michael Obafemi and Joel Piroe.

Leeds United made a late enquiry regarding Piroe, although the Swans swiftly rebuffed that interest. And the Swans appear destined to keep hold of last season's top scorer amid previously reported interest from clubs including Watford.

Elsewhere, Burnley have shown strong interest in Michael Obafemi who now looks likely to stay in south Wales after the Clarets failed to meet the Swans' £10m valuation of the Irishman.
