It is that time of the year when NFL Network presents its NFL Top 100 list. This is a list that is completely comprised of player voting, so it is entirely volatile year after year. This year is no different as the Cleveland Browns have a player coming off of back-to-back First-Team All-Pro seasons left out of the top 100 in left guard Joel Bitonio.
Again, this tends to be a popularity contest among players, and Bitonio is a guy that continues to fly under the radar as he is completely about the work. However, it is incredibly disingenuous for a guy building a legit Hall of Fame portfolio to be placed this far outside of the top players in the league.
You will not hear a peep from Bitonio about it, however.
