Joe Swash lands new presenting job on CBBC show after wedding to Stacey Solomon

Joe Swash has landed a new presenting job as the host of CBBC's The Dengineers for its next series.

The former EastEnders star, 40, married Loose Women panellist star Stacey Solomon, 32, at their Pickle Cottage home in July.

And now, Joe will be replacing Joe Tracini in the children's programme which sees a production team design themed dens or playhouses for children.

He will join existing host Meryl Fernandes for the seventh series.

The upcoming series will start off with a Strictly Come Dancing -themed den for a super-fan of the dance competition - which is set to air soon.

Other creations include an orangutan den, a Shakespeare den, a crochet den and a rollercoaster den.

The release date for the CBBC series has not yet been confirmed.

Joe and Stacey tied the knot in July with a stunning ceremony in the sprawling garden of their Essex country home.

After their wedding, the happy couple enjoyed a month-long honeymoon with their children in their gorgeous home.

At the end of August, Stacey took to her Instagram stories and shared her feelings about returning to work.

Alongside a sweet snap of the Loose Women star cuddling in bed with her youngest son, Rex, 2, Stacey gushed over her month-long honeymoon and the beautiful time she got to spend with her children, Zachary, 14, Leighton, 12, Rex, 2, and baby Rose.

"Only three more days until we're back to work and the end of the wedding bubble," the newlywed penned.

"So we're trying to have as much fun as we can before then. Late nights and snuggles. Hope you're all okay. Hope you've all had a lovely bank holiday weekend, lots of love from me and Rex," Stacey added.

Stacey previously shared a glimpse at her honeymoon as the couple went to Asda to do the weekly food shop.

The TV star added: "This is going to sound so silly but one of our favourite things we've enjoyed by being off together is doing the food shop.

"Usually it's a supermarket sweep on our own so we've been well excited about going together and just walking around actually remembering what we need to get."

"The kids love it too we've made proper days out. Who needs Aruba when you've got Asda. How sad are we?" she added.
