I'm A Celebrity... South Africa star Joe Swash broke down in tears as he opened up about his marriage to Stacey Solomon.
The past two weeks ITV viewers have watched Joe tackle challenges in the South African camp after he and fellow latecomer Dean Gaffney joined the likes of Carol Vorderman and Phil Tufnell.
After over a week in the jungle, Joe began missing his family and opened up about how the show has "given him everything".
Joe and Stacey share Rex, three, Rose, and newborn Belle, while he has Harry, 15, from a previous relationship and she has Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11, from other relationships.
On Monday night's show, Joe told fellow campmates Jordan Banjo and Myleene Klass how much he's missing home, in emotional scenes which were filmed last year before Stacey gave birth to their daughter Belle.
He tearfully said: "I’m really missing my kids… I don’t know how to get rid of the feeling."
Myleene Klass and Jordan Banjo immediately got up to embrace their friend as he discussed how he was feeling.
"I was a different person the first time [I did I’m A Celeb]. This time there’s so much at home waiting for me," he added, looking back on his first time on the programme in 2008.
He added: "Everyone wants to do their family proud and I want to do the same."
Joe met his wife Stacey when he was hosting the survival reality series in 2010 while she was appearing on the show.
They started off as good friends and didn't start a relationship until six years later – but have since fallen madly in love and married last year.
During the same episode, Joe thanked the show for introducing him to the Loose Women panellist.
"Honestly, I genuinely feel like I’m the biggest winner ever from anyone who’s done this show," he admitted.
"It gave me my wife, my kids, a career for over a decade. Growing up, all I wanted to be was a dad and have a family. The jungle came along and I met my wife in the jungle.
"I have two amazing kids, me and Stacey have had since we’ve been in the jungle. I feel like I’ve won this already. I don’t know where I would be without it. I’d just be that dude that was on EastEnders years ago. Now, I’m Stacey Solomon’s husband."
He explained how he found it difficult to talk about the jungle "without getting emotional" as he wears his heart on his sleeve.
"I feel very blessed, very lucky. It was my chance to come back and say thank you. You pulled me through some very dark times and gave me everything I ever wanted," he said in the Bush Telegraph.
