Joe Savage is to leave his position at Heart of Midlothian this summer.
The club's sporting director will resign after three-and-a-half years at Tynecastle. The 40-year-old recently made his intentions to step down clear with his fellow Gorgie chiefs.
Savage is not believed to have a no new job lined up. He had been linked with Stoke City before they appointed Jonathan Walters and was reportedly attracting some attention from Premier League clubs earlier this year, it's believed Savage has no new job lined up.

Savage, who had a playing career that included spells at Montrose, East Stirlingshire and Arbroath, joined the club towards the end of 2020 after scouting and recruitment roles Hamilton, Norwich and Preston.
Earlier this season he came under criticism from fans but has overseen three top four finishes in the Premiership following promotion from the Championship. The club have also reached the Scottish Cup final and will play in European group stage competition for the second time. During his time at the club, Hearts have signed Lawrence Shankland and he was involved in Steven Naismith's appointment as head coach.
It's not yet known when the club will officially announce Savage's departure.
