Joe Rogan called Megan Markle a "little American hussy" who would 'turn Prince Harry into a Kardashian' in an unearthed podcast.
The broadcaster, 54, made the comments before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex complained to Spotify about the podcaster's controversial comments about the Covid vaccine.
Over the last week, Joe has come under fire for interviewing doctor Robert Malone, who claimed on The Joe Rogan Experience that Americans were “hypnotised” into wearing masks and getting vaccines.
However discussing Megxit on his podcast, which aired in January 2020 - shortly after Meghan, 40 and Harry, 37 announced they were quitting the UK - Joe had a few choice words to say about the Suits actress.
Mimicking the Queen, he quipped to former CIA agent Mike Baker: "It's that little American hussy he's hooked up with. She's going to turn him into a Kardashian.
"That little American hussy has ruined my prince."
He later mused: "They're already so popular all they need to do is start endorsing f****** makeup lines and sneakers and watches and s***."
Harry and Meghan revealed they had complained to Spotify about the "all too real consequences of COVID-19 misinformation on its platform".
The controversial commentator has angered several celebrities, who have accused the presenter of spreading Covid vaccine misinformation.
They argue that false claims over the vaccine are putting lives at risk.
In a statement released through their Archewell Foundation, Meghan and Harry said: ‘Since the inception of Archewell, we have worked to address the real-time global misinformation crisis.
"Hundreds of millions of people are affected by the serious harms of mis- and disinformation every day.
"Last April, our co-founders began expressing concerns to our partners at Spotify about the all too real consequences of Covid misinformation on its platform.’
The couple continued: "We have continued to express our concerns to Spotify to ensure changes to its platform are made to help address this public health crisis.
"We look to Spotify to meet this moment and are committed to continuing our work together as it does."
The couple, who have a content deal with Spotify said to be worth £18m, join musicians Joni Mitchell and Neil Young in their criticism of the podcaster.
Both artists have demanded that their songs be removed from the platform.
Meanwhile actress Sharon Stone branded the former UFC commentator "dangerous".
Joe, whose show The Joe Rogan Experience is Spotify's highest-rated programme has since promised to "balance things out".
