Joe Kent claimed that Charlie Kirk warned him about “getting into a war with Iran” during the pair’s final conversation.
The Trump administration’s former National Counterterrorism Center Director told Tucker Carlson that the late Turning Point co-founder had “looked him in the eye” in the West Wing and told him: “Joe, stop us from getting into a war with Iran.”
Kent, who resigned on Tuesday (17 March), saying he could not support the US’s war with Iran, claimed Kirk was "vocally advocating" against war with Iran and urging the administration to "rethink [their] relationship with Israel.”
