Joe Hart's Celtic title party one word verdict as thousands of fans gather at Parkhead

Joe Hart was loving life at the title party celebrations as he hailed the experience as 'amazing'.

The veteran Hoops No1 was making his 100th appearance for Ange Postecoglou's side as they secured back to back Scottish Premiership titles with a 2-0 win in the capital. Kyogo Furuhashi grabbed his 30th of the season and 50th since signing for the club with Oh Hyeon-gyu netting a second with ten to play to make sure of the three points against ten-man Hearts.

Thousands of fans flocked to Parkhead to welcome their heroes home as they celebrated another title success. The League Cup is already in the bag with just the Scottish Cup to claim in a bid to land a domestic Treble. Celtic go into that game as heavy favourites to win the famous old trophy with Scottish Championship side Inverness standing in their way at Hampden next month.

Supporters were in full voice as they partied in Glasgow's east end and a buzzing Hart got involved by uploading a selfie with a large group of fans behind him outside Celtic Park with the caption: 'Amazing' and three green love hearts.

Speaking to Celtic TV after securing a second title as boss, Postecoglou said: “I’m just immensely proud of the group – the players, the staff.

“They’ve been incredible this years in terms of the standards they’ve set, the football they’ve played, the performances, the results, the goals they’ve scored, and it’s a credit to every one of them that they’ve really embraced the challenge of being a better side than we were last year and, fittingly, they get the rewards for it.

'I am proud because when you’ve had success, sometimes you wonder if people have the same drive and are really prepared to work as hard the following year, and I’ve never really sensed that in this group.'

“From the first day of pre-season they’ve embraced that we want to be better this year, we want to be stronger, and that’s what we’ve done.

“And they’ve maintained the high standard of performance through a really challenging year with the Champions League and the World Cup break, and through it all they’ve been unflinching in their approach to the game.”
