Celtic great Packie Bonner has hit out at goalkeeper Joe Hart for his role in the Hoops' defeat to RB Leipzig.
Ange Postecoglou's side were 1-0 down at half-time through a Christopher Nkunku effort but things seemed brighter after Jota levelled things up shortly after half-time. But a horror pass out from the back by Hart was easily intercepted and Andre Silva proceeded to punish with him with a fine finish, adding another to seal a 3-1 win.
It means that Celtic are bottom of Champions League Group F after matchday three but they are still just one win off climbing back into third, with Leipzig to come to Parkhead next week. Speaking on Sportsound, former goalkeeper Bonner was dismayed by the stopper's pass and wishes he'd have done anything else but that. He said: "You just can not take a risk like that from the back.

"He's trying to put that ball through the eye of a needle and it is cut out, given away. Madness, oh my word. There's no chance he's going to get that ball to Greg Taylor, who I think he was trying to pick out.
"He didn't get it accurate enough and the trap was set. Wow. Play it wide, play it into a space, if it's cut out at that point you've a chance to recover.
"You can not play it into an inverted full-back position where they are setting a trap with almost three players."
