Joe Duffy has shocked fans after revealing his incredible painting skills.
The RTE radio presenter a portrait of Sean O'Casey to the Sean O'Casey Centre in Dublin, leaving fans surprised at his artistic abilities. Joe took up painting in 2020 to deal with lockdown life as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Joe captured the expression of the dramatist excellently in his portrait. Joe posted a photo of the painting, named Notions of Upperosity, to his thousands of Twitter followers yesterday.

Fans were clearly impressed with his skills with one person writing: "Wow! That’s superb Joe, really superb." Another said: "Wow, that's a great portrait, Joe! You could earn a shilling or two doing commissions if RTE ever throw you out!"
One follower tweeted: ""That's absolutely marvellous!!" Joe said of his love for painting in 2020: "It’s what you do, when you have nothing to do that will define this emergency.
"When you’ve nothing to do, why not try something new? I find dabbling with watercolours while listening to an audiobook extremely relaxing. You need just one brush, a small set of watercolours and heavy paper. Anyone can paint, just try it."
Joe presented the painting as part of the Sean O'Casey Festival, which is taking place until tomorrow in Dublin's north inner city and features an array of drama, art, history and literature events.
