The Chargers beat the Jets, 27-6, on Monday night in a game that started off with a lot of punts and ended with not a lot of points for Zach Wilson and the home team.
The Jets, who had won three straight coming into the game, failed to score in the second half against the Chargers, which left ESPN analyst Troy Aikman tearing them to shreds during the final drive and then later in the postgame show.
ESPN’s Aikman and Joe Buck got some subtle shots in at the NFL during the first half, noting that we’ve seen a few Jets games this year that have featured a lot of punts and not a lot of offensive excitement.
"This is already the ninth punt of the game, just in the first half. After a Giants/Jets game that featured 24 combined punts."

"Not what the league has had in mind with offensive football."

The Jets will be back on prime time this coming week when they face the Raiders on Sunday night in Las Vegas. Rejoice!
