You know what? I’m on Troy Aikman’s side here!
The Monday Night Football analyst was like all of us, getting bored watching the Seattle Seahawks completely dismantle the New York Giants 24-3 in Week 4. So with only a few minutes left in the fourth quarter and coming out of a commercial break, Aikman asked his longtime broadcasting partner Joe Buck, “You know what this game needs?”
Buck replied, “Don’t say it.”
Their back-and-forth didn’t mention Taylor Swift once, but c’mon. They’re talking about the story that has burned up the interwebs for two weeks straight.
It was really funny and made for good TV, which is what you can ask for with 5:26 left in a laugher:
