Rob Page allayed concerns over Joe Allen's hamstring injury after confirming the midfielder will not feature for Wales against Netherlands.

The 32-year-old was withdrawn in the opening half of his country's 1-1 draw against Belgium at Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday after pulling up. It has been confirmed that Allen will not travel to Rotterdam for Wales' final June fixture on Tuesday night, with the free agent set to undergo a scan on Monday.

But Wales boss Page does not believe that the injury will hamper Allen's prospects of finding himself a new club this summer amid interest from Swansea City.
