The most recent Jobe Bellingham transfer news indicates that the Sunderland star could be about to follow in his brother’s footsteps and complete a move to Borussia Dortmund.
In 2020, the German giants signed Jude for £30 million from then EFL Championship side Birmingham City. He would go on to play 132 times for the club, scoring 24 times and registering 25 assists.
Not only that, Jude won a series of individual accolades including the 2022/23 Bundesliga Player of the Season award. He was also part of the side who won the DFB-Pokal in 2021.
Now, younger sibling Jobe could be about to emulate his brother’s achievements if a move to Signal Iduna Park comes to fruition in the summer.
Jobe Bellingham Transfer News Hints At Dortmund Switch
History could very much be about to repeat itself if the latest Jobe Bellingham transfer news is to be believed. And supporters of Borussia Dortmund won’t mind that at all.
The younger brother of current Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham has some very big shoes to fill. His older sibling was a revelation in Germany before moving to Los Blancos in 2023.
It’s unlikely that if a move was to materialise that Jobe would be intimidated by moving to such an illustrious club. After all, he has Jude to lean on for advice.

However, parent club Sunderland are under no pressure to sell their star man. The Black Cats are mounting an unlikely promotion push and could potentially offer Jobe Premier League football next year.
A figure of £20 million has been touted which may convince the Mackems to part ways with Bellingham. Even more so if they don’t secure top flight football next season.
The general feeling right now is that Jobe will make a decision on his future once the current campaign has concluded. No matter what happens, it appears unlikely that he will turn down such an illustrious opportunity if it presents itself.
