PepsiCo is searching for a Finance Systems Manager who can improve SCF system capability and the adoption of SAP, allowing the business to deliver effective performance reporting. The Finance Systems Manager will join on a full-time, permanent contract, working out of the PepsiCo’s Reading base.
The Role
These responsibilities fall within the remit of the Finance Systems Manager:
Delivering the successful adoption, understanding, and reporting of SAP across the UK Central Supply Chain and Site Finance teams.
Working to deliver critical reports, data analysis, and reporting tools to enable the teams to deliver month close, performance reporting, and to inform PxF cycles.
Driving the SAP team agenda and adoption of new ways of working, including implementing process improvements and driving for efficiency and added value in routine SAP tasks.
Supporting SAP superusers in team training sessions and building team knowledge and capability.
Working closely with the PGT team to deliver on both short-term system improvements and long-term changes in system capability and enhancements.
Developing an understanding of how to deliver efficient SAP into TM1 reporting and forecasting by working with PGT & Mosaic teams.
Supporting UK SCF Planning & Control teams with optimising and standardising reporting and forecasting needs out of SAP.
Identifying gaps in process that cause issues in reporting and financial data analysis across the teams, before working with PGT to resolve these.
Supporting the production of key operating process flows in SAP, including system mapping, to build team learning and understanding.
Supporting the Senior Supply Chain Finance Manager on ad hoc requests relating to SAP.
Supporting robust system understanding and workflow to deliver improvements in forecasting (PxF and AOP).
Building strong relationships across the stakeholder groups of SCF teams and PGT teams to ensure objectives are delivered on.
Taking ownership of developing team understanding of the SAP system, including critical reports and training outputs from SAP that drive decision making.
Owning and acting as the interface between the BU SCF teams, Site teams, and PGT teams to help drive team understanding and adoption of SAP.
Acting as the SCF superuser to enable critical performance understanding and reporting, as well as to push the integration of the system across all levels of data requirement.
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this position, candidates should have the following profile:
Commercial ACA or CIMA with extensive PQE, ideally in an FMCG manufacturing environment with a strong development record.
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently and assertively across all levels.
Accounting systems experience in SAP is critical.
A high level of proficiency with data manipulation, using analytical software packages (SAP Analytics and Microsoft Excel).
Assertive and independent, with the ability to cope effectively under pressure and to adhere to tight deadlines. This includes working on multiple projects simultaneously, usually with complex data.
Ability to manage a very broad agenda and single-mindedly ensure key objectives are delivered.
The ability to prioritise and delegate support requests, align priorities, and arrange resources or push back where resources are insufficient.
