Liverpool have been given a boost ahead of their next Premier League home game against Chelsea after the Blues' new signing Joao Felix was sent off on his debut.
The Blues handed a first start to the Portuguese international against Fulham on Thursday after capturing the Atletico Madrid star on loan this week, until the end of the season in a deal worth £9.7million.
But the 23-year-old forward could not have made a worse start to his time in West London after he was shown a straight red card for a wild high lunge on Kenny Tete, leaving referee David Coote with no choice but to dismiss Felix immediately.
