Joao Felix 'offered' to Arsenal as long-term Arteta transfer target's price finally revealed

Arsenal are pushing for Champions League qualification this season.

Their most recent Premier League victory came at the Emirates on Thursday night, where the Gunners left it late to secure all three points against Wolves.

Substitute Nicolas Pepe found the net in the 82nd minute to cancel out Hwang Hee-Chan's early goal, before Alexandre Lacazette's slightly wayward 95th minute shot deflected off Jose Sa to hand the Arsenal the win.

The victory leaves the north London outfit just one point behind fourth-placed Manchester United, who have played two more league fixtures.

They now have more than a week to prepare for a visit to local rivals Watford - who are currently sitting in the relegation places - and a top-four Premier League place is a real possibility for the Gunners.

Regardless of whether they qualify for the Champions League, Arsenal will be looking to strengthen in the summer, primarily in the central forward and midfield areas.

With that in mind, football.london has rounded-up some of the latest transfer rumours surrounding the club.

Who?

Joao Felix

Where?

What?

Felix has already been 'offered' to Arsenal. The 22-year-old scored a sublime header against Manchester United during the week to remind potential suitors what he is capable of and he's attracting plenty of interest from foreign clubs.

However, it’s suggested that Arsenal are not quite as hot on Felix as some might expect, and a move may not materialise as a result of that lack of interest.

Who?

Marco Asensio

What?

Arsenal could pick up Asensio for £50million this summer, with that figure being around what Real Madrid are asking for.

The attacking midfielder has long been linked with a move to the Emirates but for one reason or another, a deal has never been agreed.

Nevertheless, with the Gunners looking to add more midfield talent in the coming window, his name has once again been mooted as a potential signing and they could return for him in the summer.

Who?

Lautaro Martinez

What?

Martinez isn't desperate to leave the San Siro this summer and is focused on performing for Inter Milan, according to his agent Alejandro Camano.

“Lautaro doesn’t think about himself, he only thinks about Inter," he said.

“He wants to help and wants fans to be happy. Inter haven’t scored many goals lately, but it’s just a process and will return to scoring, that’s for sure."
