Dame Joanna Lumley has described the flash flood in Nepal as "heartbreaking", suggesting the disaster "could have maybe been predicted" as she attended a vigil for those affected.
The 80-year-old actor, who has visited Nepal frequently and maintains strong links with the Gurkha community, said that seeing the flood sweep through the country's northern region last week "broke her heart".
