Jo Good's eye-catching yellow satin dress is a luxurious and flattering find – and it's still in stock at John Lewis

This Morning's fashion expert Jo Good stepped out in an eye-catching midi dress in an earthy yellow shade yesterday at Goodwood Races. With its luxurious satin fabric and beautifully draped silhouette, this flattering design is a top choice for any summer occasion you plan on attending.

If you're stuck on what to wear to the races, or simply looking for a fabulous summer wedding guest dress, Jo's look is well worth taking inspiration from. Her dress is a bold ochre colour and proves that this shade can be just as sophisticated as classic summer picks such as airy pastels or vibrant florals.

The exact midi dress is by the brand Florere, and luckily for us, it's still available to shop at John Lewis. Jo completed the outfit with a pair of wedge sandals and a sculptural fascinator by Jess Collett – an eye-catching addition for a day at the races.

This elegant dress features a flattering waist-band, a softly pleated skirt and is made from a luxurious satin fabric. It's perfect for almost every special occasion, from warm-weather nuptials to a day at the races.

Combining comfort with style, these leather wedges are the type of footwear piece you'll come to rely on in the warmer season. Plus, they are surprisingly versatile. Try elevating a white jeans outfit with them.

This cream and navy fascinator will add a sophisticated finishing touch to your occasionwear outfits. The monochrome design and neutral shades make it a versatile choice too.

The swishy, pleated design of this silk dress makes it extremely flattering, as it will skim over your midsection with ease. The halter neck detail with a playful bow will frame your face beautifully.

This maxi dress comes in a rich yellow shade similar to Jo Good's find; however, this has long sleeves and neat front buttons. It features a flattering waistband that's elasticated at the back and will define your figure.

From a black-tie event to a daytime wedding, this eye-catching design will work for every occasion. It has ruffles that cascade down one side and a pleated skirt that adds movement to your silhouette.

Sitting somewhere between yellow and muted orange, the earthy ochre shade of her dress feels warm, sophisticated and suprisingly versatile. And whilst we've seen lighter shades such as butter and sunshine yellow in the spring/summer fashion colour trends 2026, this earthier shade nods to the transition into autumn and feels extremely unique.

Not only is the pigmented shade worth noting. Jo's dress has a thoughtfully designed silhouette. It has short sleeves that extend slightly to add structure to her frame, and the smooth waist panel gently defines her midsection. The floaty, pleated skirt adds movement to her silhouette as she walks, making this design feel easy to wear.
