'JNU is a free university': VC Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit says university clash probe 'impartial'

NEW DELHI: Days after a clash over "food menu" and a "havan" in Jawaharlal Nehru University, vice-chancellor Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit said on Wednesday that "JNU is a free university. We respect individuals' choices."

"JNU is a free university. We respect individuals' choices. It's a melting pot of all identities. Young people have opinions and we appreciate diversity and dissent, but let's not end up having violence," ANI quoted Dhulipudi Pandit as saying.
