If you ask NBA broadcaster and podcaster JJ Redick what he thinks of Game 4 of the 2024 NBA Finals, the former player would tell you that it was a bad impersonation of the Boston Celtics. The Dallas Mavericks staved off elimination and sent the series back to Boston’s TD Garden for Game 5 of the series (set to tip off this Monday (June 17) night), the series is not over yet.
And Redick said as much in conversation with Doris Burke and Mike Breen on the call for Game 4, which saw the Celtics lose focus and get spanked to the tune of 122-84 for their troubles.
The folks over at ESPN’s Sports Center put together a clip of Redick and company breaking down what they saw in Game 4 with an eye to what it means for Game 5.
